How can play therapy help my child?

Therapy through play rather than talking can support your child's emotional growth and development. Our techniques create a safe and nurturing environment for children to express themselves without the need for words, as we communicate through play.
Relationship
During the clinical session we build a trusting relationship together where your child learns they can trust me with all the big emotions that have led them to experience this current difficulty.
Inner Strength
Because your child is facing challenges, we build on their inner strength to make permanent change to their own thinking for positive long-term outcomes to their self-esteem.
Recognise and Reflect
In order for your child to become self aware, I mirror them so that they have opportunity to process their difficulties in a new light and with insight. I give them my implicit trust and they reciprocate.
