Service Description

Sand combined with small toys, enables children and young teens to tell their story without words. This is ideal for children who have found talking therapies difficult and need the support of an array of toys to help them tell a story with an attuned adult by their side. It does not require any particular creative ability or storytelling talents. SandStory® Therapists are specially trained to offer the structure and guidance to support children and young people to 'tell their story in the sand' and to respond to the emotional and symbolic content of an individual's unique story to promote insight, self-awareness, healing, and growth.
